Peter Fraser, who was in the best shape of his life thanks to a daily ten-mile sprint, regular weight lifting, a vegan diet, scientifically formulated supplements, eight hours of sleep a night, living in pollution-free Honolulu, and no alcohol (except for a glass of champagne on his birthday, his wife’s birthday, and New Year’s eve), suddenly died on August 22nd after closely examining the yogurt container from which he just ate and realizing that the yogurt had expired yesterday.Â
I publish a short story every Sunday, but from time to time post an additional, shorter work of fiction mid-week. I like one-sentence stories because of the challenge of capturing somebody’s entire life between the sentence’s first letter and period.
Administrative notes:
Fiction by Bill Adler now has a paid option. Paid and unpaid subscriptions receive the same content, so you don’t miss anything if you get my free newsletter. All a paid subscription does is help support this indie writer.
I accidentally turned off commenting for my previous story, Music Never Dies, but it’s back on. Feel free to add your thoughts.
If you eat this yogurt YOU will expire. - the fine print
Sometimes - I am a bit like him. Thank you for the reminder! LOL
