For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. That must have been one heck of a powerful beam. And where is Object 54 now? Will it in future collide with Earth in its new location? Stay tuned!
"The deflector didnβt change the asteroidβs trajectory. It pushed our planet to another solar system, maybe even another galaxy." What a clever concept, Bill! I think it is utterly new! Wow!
This kind of thing didnβt happened when Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck and and their rag tag band of actors whose names I donβt remember saved the earth from a killer asteroid!
Great story! I am secretly hoping itβs just a prolog to a much longer book length epic! π
Thanks George! Iβm glad you enjoyed The Asteroid. Thereβs a sequel coming because we need to know what happens to humanity in this weird place in the universe.
I love Armageddon! Itβs a terrific movie that Iβve watched multiple times.
LOVE a doomsday asteroid story and liked the twist ending!

Object 54 is probably still hurtling toward where Earth used to be wondering why everyone ghosted it.π€£π
Right? Asteroids have feelings, too. ;-)
Oops! She must have reversed a value in her equation. You always have a surprise, Bill. I love it.
Math is hard!

Great news about the sequel! The approaching asteroid was just the appetizer, the time and space shift looks like it will be the main courseπ
