Bill, "The Truth," really rocked me. No one wants to be at the moment of death of a helpless man pleading his innocence and then the sting of the needle that ends him. The Ending, where the time error is revealed is shock, but I was not shocked by the ending. Isn't that close to the world we live in? Bravo for a terrific story.
I'm with you on that. I joined a nationwide group called INDIVISIBLE which holds peaceful protests in different locations. My wife and I partiipate every Saturday and try to spread the word to others.
So does this mean there was no murder, after all? Where is the victim? In this universe, some other universe, or both. Or is it that two murders happened at the same time, in identical settings, with the same victim, but with different perpetrators in different universes? This stuff gets complicated fast. :) You got me thinking again, Bill.

Thank you very much, Sandy. I'm glad you liked "The Truth." I hope the world takes a different, and just, direction.

Oooooh this needs to be a book! Is it? 🙏
Thank you. I'm tempted to expand this short story by 80,000 words.
Yes please!
Now that gave me a chill....
I’m glad “The Truth” moved you. Thanks!
Somehow found this story compelling. It has a good mix / was well mixed. thx!
Thank you. I'm glad to hear that.
Horrific SciFi novel!
Thank you!
Any comment is better as no-comment? ;) !

Time travel will do a lot of things, but most of all it will wreck our brains.
Mix that with alternate universes and any combination of events that we can think of and especially those that we can't conceive will take place.
This is why we have vodka on our Earth.
And I have trouble remembering what day of the week it is.
Nicely done. Another good argument against the death penalty, for sure.
Thank you, Mark.
i like this...there seems to be a swirl of other dimensional energy on the stack last few days... im feeding off it.
great punchy story. kind of an echo of current times as regards injustice.
Thanks, Nick. It's a strange universe we live in, and getting stranger all the time.
its feeding my small and scary idea...
This is chilling! And seems realistic, which makes it even more like a nightmare. A fantastic story, well written!
Thank you. I'm happy you liked "The Truth." A nightmare, for sure.
The first two stories, wow! Enjoyed them very much. The third, I felt a little burdened by all those umbrellas..
Thanks, Yael. I'm glad you liked the first two. Umbrellas can be a bit of a problem, I admit.
Hmmmm… a trumpian ending, it seems! 🤪
Something like that, yes.
I want karmic justice to manifest on several levels…if only on paper….please expand this if the mood strikes.
Take that watch away from the DA sitting upon a throne of blood and injustice.
Did I forget to say that I like this story?
Well I do.. 🤓
I very much hope justice prevails.
I’m glad you enjoyed the story.
One can always hope 😊
Excellent story, Bill.
Thank you, Sharron. I'm happy you liked "The Truth."
I liked this one, Bill. I suspected the ending, but that didn't detract from the great storytelling.
Well done!
Thanks, Thomas. I'm happy you liked The Truth.”.
Grabbed me immediately, very well written. Painful, so painful, but this is the truth…please, master of universe, let us not not forget the beauty…
Thank you, Miriam.
I like the premise. Imaginative and strong voice.
Thank you, Jen. I'm happy to hear that.
