Dear Friends,

If you ask a story what it wants most, the answer is “to be read.”

Once a week, I’ll send you a short story I’ve written. Some will be microfiction-sized, perhaps just one sentence, a quick read that brings a smile to your face in a heartbeat. Some stories will be longer, taking a few minutes to devour, while others will be more traditionally-sized.

I write science fiction, fantasy, magical realism, love stories, adventures, thrillers, horror, crime stories, and literary fiction.

I’ve been writing my entire adult life. For many years I was a literary agent, but I stopped because agenting consumed too much writing time. When I moved to Japan, I resumed writing full time. I especially enjoy writing short stories.

I’m excited about sharing my stories with you.
