That was great, apart from the end of the world of course. Japan must be extremely inspiring. I miss Asia so much especially Hong Kong where I lived for 15 years.
Thanks, Julie. I'm glad you enjoyed Gerald Gray's To-Do List. It was a fun story to write.
I like Japan and am getting to explore more of Asia now that I'm in this part of the world. I've written a few stories that take place in Japan, which is very much an inspiring place.
This was great. The pattern became clear quickly, but then it begged the question "how high up is this going to go?" Correct answer, apparently, is "all the way."
I loved this! The idea of leaving an incomplete to-do list on my desk made me look at mine closely this week! Yikes! I mix personal, consulting work, everything on one list. Would not wish that on anyone.
Ha! A fun exploration of the butterfly effect. Really hammers home how interconnected we all are (and how lucky we are to still be alive despite everyone out there making so many decisions every second of the day!).
A chain reaction of events craftily connected! A a possible scenario reminds us to view everything we do with awareness. Thank You!
It feels like what happened, could happen. I'm glad you enjoyed Gerald Gray's To-Do List.

For every action or inaction, there’s a reaction or chain reaction.
Another great one!
Yes, the rule of nature none of us can avoid.

Thanks, Anthony. Ever since writing Gerald Gray's To-Do list, I've made sure my list is done at the end of each day.

Thanks, MaryEllen. I'm a little more careful about getting my to-do list completed than I was before I wrote this story.

One pull of the wrong string and there we go into oblivion. I"m glad you liked the story.
It’s like “For Want of a Nail,” just more gloriously cataclysmic. (That’s going to be my Todd Rundgren earworm now.)
This is one of my favorite stories. I'm glad you enjoyed it. (Now I have the earworm!)
Ripples...
Gotta love that butterfly effect!
It's powerful!
