Why would someone use a staple remover after getting their heart fixed? Why would someone torture themselves like that?
Sometimes it’s due to the belief that if they healed from their pain, it makes what happened to them “okay”, so they hold on to the pain in order to validate their suffering. Sometimes pain makes more sense to them and being happy is scary. Sometimes they are still in love and just don’t want to move on.
I think the Heart's Stapler will need to switch to a soldering iron or something.
