You told his story better in a couple of minutes than Christopher Nolan did in a couple of hours.

Thank you, Deirdre. It took several days for me to figure out the ending and I'm glad you liked it.

Excellent. I thought this story story was heading in the same direction as the Twilight Zone episode, "A Stop at Willoughby" - was not expecting that twist at the end, but I liked it. It makes for a more nuanced perspective of Oppenheimer's contributions to science.

Thanks, Sam. I'm glad you like Oppenheimer's Bicycle.

"A Stop at Willoughby" is one of my favorite Twilight Zones.

It's hard to write fiction about such controversial and tragic topics as the dropping of the atomic bomb, but I think it's important to do.

A little bit of redemption for the bomb builder. Could have been a movie. 😉 (I haven’t seen the newest Oppenheimer movie.)

Thanks, Mark. I try now to think about weapons of mass destruction too often as I already sleep badly enough. But sometimes I'm compelled to write fiction about them.

You have a good grasp of the eternal arc.

But our children

And theirs

Will place our shadows

Alongside those

In the great

Sunlit forest
