Nice story. I thought towards the end that Henry would reveal himself as a fellow time-traveller, but him being an alien was a trust I didn't expect. Great stuff!
That was a great one Bill! I was in Astoria OR last summer, hadn’t been there in many years. Lewis and Clark aren’t the only famous ones connected to that area… GOONIES!
Thanks, Peter. I love writing (and reading) time travel stories, and I'm glad you enjoyed this one. I've spent too little time in the Pacific Northwest, but would love to see more, especially the Goonies sites. :)
Likewise. I was getting pretty suspicious of Henry's all to compliant behavior... that nice twist at the end though... I think that last line captures perfectly Henry's sentiment of "Finally! It's all out in the open, let's get some electricity up in this log cabin (but first spaceship ride)."
Hey, Bill also read your next two stories, also about time travel, but I like Opposites Attract best. "Nunca sabes para quien trabajas" ("You never know who you're working for") has a lot of possible applications. For example, you may think you're racking up points for your own agenda, when you're actually paving the way for someone who is after the same goal.

Thank you, Tony. I wasn't sure how Opposites Attract would end until I got there. I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
Such a great one!!! I enjoyed it!
Thank you, Christina. I'm happy to hear that.

A small gem of a story. I always love time travel stories and this one was with a twist.
Thank you. I enjoy reading time travel stories, too. (And writing them.)
Brilliant story, thanks. Great start to Monday.
Thank you very much, Colin.
Brilliant, Bill. I knew something was up, but did not guess it.

They are the perfect pair.
I'm glad you enjoyed Opposites Attract. I had fun writing it.
Thank you, Sharron. I'm glad to have surprised you.
Very smart and sassy! I used the same theme recently -- opposites attracting -- but very very differently. Isn't it a lovely world?
Thank you. I wonder if opposites attract is true for all species in the universe. Can you share a link to your piece on opposites attracting?

I snuck over and took a peak… you, as with Bill, are very imaginative!
I loved it!
Thank you, Donna!
Oops: peek! Not climbing hills here!
Gee! Feeling very honored. Thanks!
OMG I LOVE THE ENDING!
Thank you, Kim. That makes me happy.
Oh yeah!!! Mr. Adler delivers again. Love your twists. Yes, thank you, a ride on a space ship would be just fine.
Thank you, Helen. I'd like a ride on my lover's spaceship, too.
Intriguing.
Thank you, David.
A well-crafted story. Matter of fact, I loved it.
Thank you, Miriam. I'm delighted to hear that.
It has been a long time since I read a romance, longer since I enjoyed one! Thanks for brightening my Easter Sunday.
Thank you, Lana. I glad I could brighten your Easter Sunday. There are more romances to come.
Oh. I thought this was silly until I got the end. Well done!
Thank you! I'm glad I could surprise you.
What a super twist!!
Thanks, Deirdre. I wasn't sure how this story was going to end until I got there. I'm happy you liked it.
Another reason why you are one of my favorite writers: Thanks for another great read, Bill.
Henry and Stephanie's discovery reminds me of a Mexican saying:
"You never really know who you're working for."
Keep the faith.

Thank you for your kind words, Rob. I'm delighted you enjoyed Opposites Attract.
I've hadn't heard that Mexican expression, but it rings true.

Hi Rob, I'm very happy to hear you like Opposites Attract so much. The other time travel tales are different and I think Opposites Attract stands out.
I'm pretty sure I've been in the thrall of "Nunca sabes para quien trabajas" before without knowing. I hope you have a wonderful Easter.
Thanks, Bill: Likewise, amigo.
Keep it coming; your tales are an inspiration.

Ahhhhh, another wonderful story, Bill!
I really enjoyed it.
