2 cyclists, different eras, both both wanting to compete in the Olympics. And the strange bolt of lightening. Where does it take them? What happens next?

I think only one will be an Olympian.

I enjoyed it.

I would love to see what bike Clementine rides, that is one epic cargo bike.

Right? It must have taken a lot of strength for Clementine to haul all those milk bottles over cobblestone streets, too.

I'm glad you liked The Bicyclists.

Another great story, Bill! And I can't wait for the sequel!

Thanks, Ben. I'm very happy you liked The Bicyclists. A sequel is coming. (I want to find out what happens to Nathaniel and Clementine, too.)

I loved it. I am not so sure Nathaniel loved it, though. But then again, maybe he did. A change is good sometimes.

By the way, when I read this from the home page on the Substack app, the comments were from the Lunar Awards survey! Weird.. I had to go to your page and access the story from there to get to these comments. So you may not get as many comments? Maybe the app is being wonky today. Hopefully it is temporary.

Thanks, Mark. I'm glad you enjoyed The Bicyclists. I agree: I'm not sure Nathaniel felt so happy, but I think he delivered the spaghetti carbonara intact.

Yes, The Bicyclists has fewer comments than other stories usually do: A glitch in the Matrix, which I hope is only temporary.

Thank you, Marcus.

I'm plotting a sequel. Amazing things are in store for Clementine.
